Courtney grew up in a rural farming community in North Dakota. Her mom was the mayor and her dad was a potato grower. It was a town that felt safe and friendly. Hard work was an important value just like looking out for your neighbors.

Courtney attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Set to graduate during the looming Y2K crisis in 1999, a major in Information Technology seemed like a good idea. She hadn't learned from her pilot training that quietly staring at a screen wasn't the right fit for her personality.

Originally licensed in Texas in 2006, Courtney has worked as a supervising broker, owned her own independent brokerage, and brought REAL Broker to the state of Montana in 2021.

What matters most to Courtney? No question about it, her husband and 3 sons.
